Elaine Castle's Obituary
ELAINE CASTLE, 62, of Leesburg, Virginia died on Wednesday, October 6th 2010 in Winchester, Virginia. Mrs. Castle was born June 2nd 1948 in Winchester to the late Carey Franklin Reid and Sylvia Ann Yowell Reid. Her son, Lewie Funk, Jr. also predeceased her. She served the local area as an independent insurance agent for over 20 years. Many years ago she played softball and loved to pitch slow pitch.
Elaine enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and had a love for flowers.
Mrs. Castle is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Arthur Castle, Jr. of Leesburg; two children: Lisa Caviness of Leesburg, Lindy Funk of Marshall, Virginia; a step daughter: Stacey Mabe of Winchester; two sisters: Debbie Wright of The Plains, Virginia, Donna Campbell of The Plains; brother: Frank Reid of Middleburg, Virginia; a granddaughter: Lacey Elaine Caviness and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg on Monday, October 11th 2010 from 12 until time of memorial services at 1:00pm with Rev. Greg Wigfield officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
