Elaine D. Pumo's Obituary
Ms. Elaine D. Pumo, 61, of Sterling, VA, passed from this mortal life into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2006, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. She was born on July 10, 1944, in Winnipeg, Canada; lived in Illinois; and, moved to Sterling in 1999. She worked as a Customer Service Representative with DHL Smart and Global Mail and regularly attended Sterling Park Baptist Church.
Elaine is survived by her Mother, Elsie T. Gunther of Sterling; her brother, Rodney B. Gunther and his wife Connie of Ashburn, VA; and, three nephews and their families – Jeffrey Gunther, his wife Melissa, and their daughter Emeline of Charlottesville, VA; Steven Gunther, his wife Jessica, and their son Braden of O''Fallon, IL; and, Brian Gunther of Ashburn, VA, and his fiancée, LeAnn Mullins of Pound, VA.
Arrangements were handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175, where the family received friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006. Funeral services were held at Sterling Park Baptist Church, 501 York Road, Sterling, VA, 20164, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2006. Interment followed at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA. Donations in Elaine''s memory may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 1143, Sterling, VA, 20167; or, Loudoun Abused Women''s Shelter, 105 East Market Street, Leesburg, VA, 20176.
