Eleanor Margaret Carroll's Obituary
Eleanor Margaret Carroll, 90 of Leisure World in Leesburg, Virginia passed on Friday, July 24, 2015.
Born Thursday, April 3, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward Sharkey and the late Kathryn Eckert Sharkey.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Edward John Carroll, Jr. of Crestwood, KY, and daughter, Patricia Bottcher of Ashburn, VA, and 4 grandchildren.
The family received friends on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 1:30 to 2 pm at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
The funeral Mass was held at 2 pm at the church.
Interment held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Holy Sepulcre Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either: The Briar Woods High School Athletic Booster Club or the Briar Woods Band Booster Club @ Briar Woods High School Attn: Booster club of your choice Athletic OR Band, 22525 Belmont Ridge Rd, Ashburn, VA 20148, in Memory of Eleanor Carroll (grandmother of Connor and Erin Bottcher).
