Eleanor "Sally" Ibranyi's Obituary
Eleanor “Sally” Ibranyi, surrounded by loved ones at home, went to be with her eternal family on September 3, 2014.
Sally was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She lived for 10 years from the age of 15 with her family in Budapest Hungary.
She spent the last 6 years living with her god-daughter Elizabeth Hommels in Waterford, Virginia.
She was a daughter of the late Gustav Joseph Ibranyi and Emma Szarvis Ibranyi and her nephew John Patrick Ibranyi.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband John George Rosta in 2008, her first husband Joseph Balint Polgar in 1995, and her brother John Patrick Ibranyi.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Eileen T. Ibranyi, her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Ibranyi (Hans C.) Hommels, Gustav L. (Francine) Ibranyi, Jr. Richard J. Ibranyi, and Eileen Ibranyi, grandnephews Gustav L. Ibranyi, Christopher J. Ibranyi, plus other loving family and friends.
The family received friends on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church 40 Plum Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 from 8:30 AM until 10 am.
Funeral Mass immediately followed at 10 am
Entombment will be held in St. Peters Cemetery 500 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Ladislaus Church 40 Plum St New Brunswick, NJ 08901, or to Robert Woods Johnson Hospital, Ladies Auxillary.
