Eleanore Kathleen George's Obituary
ELEANORE KATHLEEN GEORGE, 87, a past resident of Portland, Oregon before moving to Ashburn, Virginia in 1980 died on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Arlington, Virginia. Mrs. George was born September 12, 1921 in Wallace, Idaho to the late George and Kathleen Crowley Kennedy. Her husband, Donald George also predeceased her in 2007. Mrs. George worked with the Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon for ten years before moving to Virginia and continuing her working career with Books A Million and later Hallmark of Reston for 11 years before retiring in the early 1990’s.
Her beloved daughter survives Mrs. George: Donna M. and husband Paul M. Cocks of Ashburn, VA; two grandsons: Erik and Jon Cocks; two great grandchildren: Ryan and Megan Cocks and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Portland, Oregon in the early part of 2009. Interment was in Valley Memorial Park, Hillsboro, Oregon.
