Elizabeth Louise Stewart's Obituary
Elizabeth Louise Stewart born in Leesburg, Virginia on July 27, 1945, to William and Mable Simms departed her loving family on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was most proud of the success of her children and her careers. She was a Project Manager for the Veterans Administration, and later a Library Assistant for Loudoun County Public Schools. She was retired from both.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Arthur L. Stewart of Sterling, VA, her children Stephanie M. Marlowe of Fayetteville, NC, William Craig Marlowe, of Sterling, VA and Ellen Nyree Stewart, of Sterling, VA, her grandchildren, Whitney Samantha Dunton of Leesburg, VA, and Nina Marie Stewart of Sterling VA, her great grandson, Isaiah Brae Dunton, Craig’s spouse, Ronald Huntt, and Whitney’s spouse Marcus Dunton. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Maurice Simms of Charlestown, W.VA, and Janice Matilda Simms of Sterling, VA.
At Elizabeth’s request, no services will be held, and in lieu of flowers,
please make donations to the Beacon Hill Food Distribution Center,
2472 Centreville Rd, Herndon, VA in Elizabeth’s name.
