Ellen was a great friend and colleague for many years. It was always a special treat to be with her at meetings and conferences and Ellen was a fine educator. I remember especially her interest in helping girls and in schools for girls. We all loved and admired her and she will be missed in her community of independent school heads....
Nancy, I have such vivid and lasting memories of the three of us from so long ago. I always had hoped to see you and Ellen again. Life passes oh so very quickly...Love to you,

Nancy and Family--I'm so sorry to hear that Ellen passed and I truly know how hard it is to lose a sister, I too lost my sister seven years. The last time I saw Ellen we were in Lord & Taylor at Dulles Town Center. When you have time please contact me. Again I'm so sorry.
