Mason was a good friend of my dad and mom, John and Marion Connor. As a child, I remember seeing Mason and Nancy and Mason's mother, Daisy, many times as our families farmed in Ashburn. Mason and my dad were good friends in their youth and he was my dad's best man when Dad married Mom. I also had the pleasure of working at Hazleton with Mason. I enjoyed so much talking with him and so proud that this wonderful man stood in at my mom and dad's wedding. He was respected at work for his knowledge, work ethic, and helping others. I was so sorry to hear of Mason's passing. I pray for the family the comfort of God's grace as you remember the grace that Mason shared with all of those whom he met. His was a very gentle spirit as we worked together in the sometimes crazy chaos at Hazleton.

Dear Nancy and family, I cherish the memory of those long ago and carefree days on the farm with all of you and Uncle Lester and Aunt Daisy.
