Emil was my supervisor at LEAA, Department of Justice, Atlanta, GA during the early 1970's. He was my mentor who encouraged me and helped me advance in my job. I am forever grateful for his attentiveness and kindness. We exchanged Christmas cards every year for almost 40 years, so I was saddened to get notice this year of his passing instead of the annual card. May he rest in peace. Beverly Downs Smith
Emil & I worked at together at the Department of Justice -Office of Justice Programs. He was such a kind man and always believed in pitching in to get the job done even though he was the Director of our Accounting Division. May he rest in peace.
Emil and I volunteered at the Alexandria Hospital together and continued our friendship over the phone weekly for several years. I will miss him and our talks! Please let me know the date for Arlington service. God Bless, Shirley Craddock
Very gentle and caring man. His condo neighbors and the mail and package delivery people who service our condo building , will miss him greatly .
