Eric Matthew Grimes' Obituary
ERIC MATTHEW GRIMES, 36, a life long resident of Leesburg, VA died on Tuesday November 13, 2007 in Sterling, VA. Mr. Grimes was born in Leesburg on July 16, 1971 and attended Loudoun County Public Schools until graduation from County in 1989. Eric attended Radford University on a golf scholarship, graduating in 1993 with a sports medicine degree. Mr. Grimes was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church and presently working with Savvis in Sterling, VA as a network engineer. Eric had a tremendous love for life, golf and spending time with family and friends.
His beloved parents survive Mr. Grimes: Robert E. “BoB” and Cathy E. Pletcher Grimes of Leesburg; a brother: Greg Grimes of Leesburg and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Friday November 16, 2007 from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday November 17 at the Leesburg Baptist Church 835 Lee Avenue, SW
Leesburg, VA with Rev. G. Reiff Lesher officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Leesburg Baptist Church.
