Mr.Spinks was a good neighbor of ours. Cliff & I knew him and his family for over 20 + years.I remember him coming down our road with his backhoe and Cliff and Ernie would talk about their backhoes and equipment..He brought many a smiles over the years. He also had a great love of animals like I have, and we would talk about our critters. He had a soft heart towards stray kitties, and one of his kitties became one of mine. He liked my duck pond and had ducks also at the time..Cliff & I have fond memories over the years of seeing Mr.Spinks tinkering and always working on some type of machinery,or stopping by just to chit chat. I remember when we first moved in..I got locked out and here comes Ernie and helped me break in..I was going to break a window, but he said no..I had a door with 6 panes in it and he broke 1 little pane, and told me go to Nichols Hardware and it would cost just a few dollars for it instead of breaking a big window.. The thing we will always remember is what a big heart he had and what a great neighbor. He will be remembered and missed..God bless..
