Ethel Baker's Obituary
Ethel Baker, 83 of Falls Church, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at home in the care of her loving family.
The youngest of six children, born Wednesday, February 16, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late William Staker and the late Elizabeth Rogers Staker.
A devoted mom, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt and friend she leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Arlene & Tom Saia of Sterling, VA and Patricia & Bob Anders of Staunton, VA, her sons, Paul Burton Baker of Falls Church, VA and Joseph & Jennifer Baker of Falls Church, VA, 3 grandsons, Peter Saia, Paul Anders and Michael Anders & 4 great grandchildren, Marlaina, Luke, Grace, and Vivian. Also, the many cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved so much. She was predeceased by her husband the late Paul Marion Baker in 2001.
Friends called on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 2 to 5 pm at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Murphy Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank E. Mahler officiating.
