Eugene Thomas White, 59 of Leesburg, Virginia transitioned on Monday, July 13, 2020. Eugene, affectionately called “Gene” and "Geno" was born on Wednesday, August 24, 1960 in Leesburg, Virginia to his loving mother, Mary White Moore and his father who preceded him in death, James L. Glenn, Sr.
Geno was a loyal New Orleans Saints fan. He was a lover of sports and an avid fitness fanatic. He enjoyed training and working out so much that he made a career of it. He worked at Worldgate Sport & Health Club as a personal trainer. While at Worldgate, Geno also worked in the Kidz Klub where he assisted with various children's programs. He had a fondness for motorcycles, enjoyed biking and extracurricular activities. Geno wore many hats and explored an array of exciting career paths. For years he worked for Reston Limousine as a driver where he had the privilege of chauffeuring many celebrities. He enjoyed being behind the wheel. Geno also worked for C & E Services where he was a chemical hazmat delivery driver. He worked for the City of Falls Church Water & Sewer Department and Capital Home Infusion where he programmed IV pumps. Clearly, he was a jack of all trades.
Geno loved people and food. He really enjoyed being around his family and friends. Although he never wed nor had children, he was adored by many nieces and nephews. He was extremely close to his aunt’s Mildred and Mary Glenn and cousins Will and Donna Paige who loved him dearly.
Geno loved the Lord and was a member of The Temple of Healing Waters in Ashburn, VA.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary White Moore and his stepfather Delaney Moore of Vienna, VA. His brother, Michael Moore of Woodbridge,VA. His stepmother, Roberta Glenn of Kearneysville,WV. Siblings including Dynita Glenn-Yates of Woodbridge, VA, Gloria Glenn-Yates of Gainesville, VA, Gwendolyn Rosalez of West VA, Charise Mitchell of Warrenton, VA, Brenda Ruiz of Leesburg, VA, James Glenn, Jr. of West VA, Lisa Glenn-Thomas of Leesburg, VA, Thornton Glenn of West VA, Robert Glenn of West VA, Kimberly Evans of Leesburg, VA, Tia Glenn-Scott of Sterling, VA, Kelly Glenn of West VA, Alicia Glenn of Woodbridge, VA.; lifetime friends Stephon and Cheray Payne of Manassas, VA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held Thursday, July 23 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the services will only be open to family and close friends.
