Eunice Jane Kennedy's Obituary
Eunice J. Kennedy passed away at INOVA Loudoun Hospital on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
Eunice was born on May 22, 1924 in New Brighton, PA. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master's in Nursing from Catholic University in Washington, DC.
Eunice entered the Army Nurse Corps in 1957. She had various stateside and overseas assignments, including tours in Okinawa and Germany. Eunice retired as Chief Nurse at FORSCOM, Georgia in 1983. She volunteered at the Gallaudet School for the Deaf in Washington, DC.
Eunice moved to Falcon's Landing in December of 1996. She volunteered as an income tax aide with the AARP and assisted seniors with Medicare reports.
Eunice is survived by her three nieces and many cousins.
Interment will be held in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton, PA.
