Evelyn Farmer's Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn Lucinda (Rupe) Farmer, 92, of Leesburg, died Friday, November 17, 2006. Born February 11, 1914 in Pulaski County, VA.
One of nine children, she was a daughter of the late Robert Bascom Rupe and the late Lucy Cindy (Mabry) Rupe.
She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice (Farmer) Harrison of Leesburg, son, Bobby Farmer of Winchester, Emory Farmer of Jonesboro, TN, and two sisters,
Ida Young and Virginia Taylor both of Dublin, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Emitt Farmer in 1984, her brothers Roscoe and Leonard Rupe, and a sister, Callie Taylor.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2006. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2006 with Rev. Cary Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA.
