Evelyn Elizabeth Henry's Obituary
Evelyn Elizabeth Henry, of Martinsburg, WV, passed on May 22, 2025. Evelyn was born in Front Royal, VA on June 4, 1927, to the late Kenneth Redmon and Vivian Robinson Redmon.
She retired from the US postal service.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Kenneth Redmon and Vivian Robinson, and stepmother Lucille Redmon. Vivian passed giving birth to a stillborn son when Evelyn was ten years old. She was also predeceased by her husband Ray R. Henry, her brothers, infant Nelson Redmon, and Kenneth Ray Redmon, her sisters Gladys Yawornicky and Susan Conner, sisters-in-law Virgie Presgraves, and Chris Redmon, her sons Ronnie Henry and Gary Henry, and daughter Belinda Bell.
Evelyn leaves her children, Cindy Black (Eric), Darryl Henry (Diane), Joy Peltier (Mike Swafford) and Doug Henry, as well as her sister Nina Burke; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on June 2, 2025, at 11:00 am at Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Sterling Cemetery.
