Evelyn Washington's Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn Jane Washington, 86, life long resident of Lovettsville, VA, died on Monday, March 10, 2008, in Ranson, WV. Evelyn was born on May 12, 1921 in Lovettsville, VA. She was a daughter of the late Ulysses Grant Hayes and the late Zula Ellen Frye. Mrs. Washington worked for the Loudoun County Public Schools for over forty years as a cook.
She is survived by her son, Robert Douglas Washington of Lovettsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Rosie Foster and Harriett Harrison, who were also her caregivers.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Mr. Robert Samuel Washington in 1975.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:15pm at Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
