Faith Captola Robinson's Obituary
Faith Robinson, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday August 18, 2022, with family by her side. She was born on September 5, 1930, in Round Hill, VA, to the late Hunter Livingston Mallory and Ella May Mallory Beaner.
Faith was a homemaker and was employed as a domestic worker earlier in life. She was known to be an excellent cook and baker. She really enjoyed watching people eat her cooking, it pleased her when her meals were enjoyed. She also was very witty, she loved joking around and had some snappy comebacks. She never a person who minced words, you always knew where you stood with her. She also loved Lionel Richie and would often listen to and sing his songs. She was also a country music fan.
Faith was preceded in death by her husband James Robinson, Sr., daughter Frances Robinson, grandchildren Terry Fairfax, Jr. and Marques Fairfax. She was the last surviving member of her seven siblings, brothers Nathaniel Mallory, and Hunter Mallory, sisters Elizabeth Knight, Maxine Veney, Aveline Paige, Theodate Mallory and Myrtle Mallory.
Faith is survived by her six children, James Robinson, Jr. of Leesburg, VA, Anthony Robinson of Shepherds Town, WV, Sarah Robinson (John) of Leesburg, VA, May Robinson (Terry) of of Purcellville, VA, Monanza Robinson, of Leesburg, VA and Theodate Robinson of San Antonio, TX, eight grandchildren, Beatrice Scott, Frances Sheppard, Kristal Cook, John Robinson, Janae Ortiz, Oliva Walton, Amber Walton, Chaniece Robinson, nine great grandchildren, Jasmine Cook, Kelvin Cook Jr., James Cook, Aaliyah Ortiz, Jasmyn Ortiz, Jalen Cook, Santana Ortiz, Kaydence Cook, Onyx Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Interment will be held privately in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA 20175.
