Francisco V. Boffi's Obituary
Francisco (Frank) V. Boffi, 95 of Leesburg, VA, formerly of Orlando, Florida passed on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Brookdale Nursing Home in Manassas, Virginia.
Frank was born Thursday, May 18, 1922 in Cranston, Rhode Island. He was a son of the late Raphael Boffi and the late Marie Carducci Boffi. He was the husband of the late Maria Natalia Boffi who predeceased him in 2013.
He was a graduate of Florida College and was employed by Travelers Insurance/ Citi Group.
He served his country in the United States Navy with two enlistments in World War II and Korea He received a Purple Heart after his ship was torpedoed and destroyed.
He is survived by his only son, Frank Robert Boffi and daughter in law Christina of Leesburg, VA.,
his grandson Nickolas of Centreville, VA, Granddaughter Jennifer of Charleston, SC, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services and entombment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any Veteran Organization.
