Frank Edward Good's Obituary
Passed away on July 7, 2016 in Leesburg, VA. Beloved husband of the late Emma Good. Frank was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church. He was honorably discharged from the Army where he was a radar equipment foreman and worked 22 years for Xerox as a trainer in computer technology. Frank’s career had taken him from his native Philadelphia, PA to Texas, California, Alaska and finally Leesburg, Virginia. He was a bird watcher, collector of coins, stamps, rocks and minerals. He was also an avid sports fan of his Washington sports teams and followed baseball, football and soccer. Frank volunteered countless hours and time at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve and also became a Certified Virginia Master Naturalist in 2009.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children John & (Catherine) Chubb and Suzanne Basenko, two grandchildren, Thomas & (Maggie) Basenko and Gwen & (Matthew) Brensinger and four great-grandchildren and many friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 3-4pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg,VA where a funeral service will be held at 4pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1:00pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mount Carmel, Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve 21085 The Woods Road, Leesburg, Va. 20175 or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
