Fred Lee Wenner's Obituary
Fred Lee Wenner, 72 of Lovettsville, Va. Passed away on Tuesday, July 21, in Aldie,Va. Loving son of the late Elmore Clark Wenner and the late Ruth Kain Wenner.
He still lived in the same house where he was born. He attended the Adult Day Care Center in Leesburg, Va. from February 2006 until August 2012. He enjoyed being with his many friends and caregivers at the center, playing games,taking trips and just having fun. It was so important to him that he never wanted to miss a day. He also loved to watch baseball games and listen to country music.
Fred is survived by his cousins, Sue W. Costello, of Leesburg, Va., Nancy W. Orndorff, of Lovettsville, Va., Tommy Wenner of Brunswick, Md., Eugene Everhart of Mineral, Va., Sandra W. Tucker of Jefferson, Md., Vickie W. O'Donnell of Winchester,Va., and Debbie Wenner of Atlanta, Ga.
Fred is predeceased by his parents, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Wenner, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Michael B. Kain, his uncles, Brice(Margaret)Wenner, George (Catherine)Wenner,Jr. and William (Virginia)Wenner, and his aunt, Dorothy(Leslie)Everhart and several other cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 24 at 11:00am with the Pastor Roland England officiating. Interment took place at Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Inc. P.O. Box 123, Lovettsville, Va. 20180.
