Doug and Rick-- I thought highly of both of your parents when we were growing up. I also worked with your mom and Lucy at what was then Old Dominion Bank. They would carry us around when we had MYF and I appreciated that and the time they spent helping the youth of Central UMC. I knew Fred at Meadow Glen of Leesburg. He was always so cheerful and so proud of his family. His sons were truly his pride and joy, and they blessed the Meadow Glen community with their fabulous music at the annual fall festivals. He was the proud patriarch of a large extended family. He loved sharing stories and photographs of the family's many successes, graduations, marriages, and births. My condolences to his wonderful family. Jo Shoesmith
