I am a classmate from Kings Point, .At KP Fred was well known for being the regimental photographer and he could be seen documenting many occasions such as honored guests, football games ,and cadet life in general .He was always kind and friendly and would give others a helping hand when needed.
Years later I found that Fred and Carol lived about 15 minutes away and we got together frequently. Fred would talk about his wonderful family and our days at the academy. We entertained each other recalling the trials and tribulations of cadet life.
I will miss my good friend, his humor, positive outlook and experience in helping others. . i recall a saying that I read some time ago...
"there is an old belief, far from the anguish and the grief, that old friends will meet again someday, on a distant shore far far away.....
Fred was the life of the gathering-always had lots of stories and, yes, the pics. Wonder what he did with all those pics.
