GAIL PARTLOW THORNTON's Obituary
GAIL PARTLOW THORNTON, 69 of Leesburg, Virginia passed on Monday, October 24, 2022.
Gail was born Wednesday, April 8, 1953 in Leesburg, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late Melvin Lee and Mary Ellen Myers Partlow.
She grew up in Ashburn and was a graduate of Broad Run High School.
Gail was a dedicated civil servant; retired from Fairfax and Loudoun County Circuit Courts as a Court Clerk.
She will be remembered for her love of family and infectious smile. Gail leaves her family to cherish her memory including her son, Joe Thornton and daughter-in-law Ana of Centreville, VA; her sister, Sherry Partlow of Leesburg, VA, and her brother Matt Partlow and sister-in-law Karen of Little River, SC. She also leaves her niece, Kristina Soeder, and nephews, Joshua Partlow and Justin Partlow along with a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
The family will receive friends for a visitation prior to the service from 12 to 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Gail's memory to Fairfax County Police Association - Retired, 5625 Revercomb Court Fairfax, VA 22030, or to the Loudoun-Dulles FOP Lodge #69 P.O. Box 6304 Leesburg, VA 20178 .
