Gary F. Boggs' Obituary
Gary F. Boggs, 76, passed away February 26, 2014, at his Virginia home.
Born in Thomasville, NC, he leaves behind many friends and family.
After graduating from Pilot High School, he joined the USAF and worked as an air traffic controller. Gary lived on his own terms and enjoyed life. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and had a love for cooking.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Banner Boggs and sister, Shirley Boggs Elliott of Thomasville. He is survived by his nephew, James R. Elliott, Jr. and wife Debbie of Thomasville; two nieces, Andrea O’ Connor and husband Dan of Dallas, Ga.; and Jerri McDonald and husband Mark of Thomasville.
Gary was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion and Elks clubs.
A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Leesburg Moose Lodge, 43 Catoctin Circle Se, Leesburg, Virginia.
