Gary F. Howell, Sr.'s Obituary
Gary Franklin Howell Sr., 59, of Purcellville, Va., formerly of Lovettsville, Va., died on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at home.
Mr. Howell was born Nov. 14, 1951, in Hagerstown, to the late Arthur Lee Howell Sr. and Betty Jane Palmer Howell.
He was the founder of Howell Trucking and had been operating out of Luck Stone in Leesburg since 2000. Mr. Howell enjoyed hunting and spending time with family.
Mr. Howell is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Brenda Sue Howell, of Purcellville; four children, Gary F. Howell Jr., of Purcellville, Cheryl L. Howell, of Woodstock, Va., Michael W. Howell, of Lucketts, Va., and Tammy S. Howell, of Leesburg; a brother, Arthur L. Howell Jr., of Harpers Ferry; three grandchildren, Alexis Hall, Michael Howell II and Alyssa Howell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private graveside services were held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
