I remember one time when you were driving me to my friends house and I was upset, you turned and looked at me almost as if you were mad and said "don't ever be sad, life it so short for that shit". You were the best daddy ever. I miss you so much.

On behalf of the Van Ness family, we are deeply saddened over the news over Gary's passing. We went to high school together and worked together in the 1980s. We unfortuanetly lost touch as we all do sometimes and we are so deeply sorry to hear such sad news.
