Foster, Genevieve, age 83, of Lovettsville, VA on April 21, 2006 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, WV. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Jackson Foster; mother of Michael R. (Rosie C.) Foster of Lovettsville, Deborah J. Foster of Harpers Ferry, and Harriet L. Harrison of Lovettsville, sister of Evelyn Jane Washington of Lovettsville, grandmother of Bonnie Fraley of Brownsville, MD, 3 additional grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 special granddaughters, Cheryl and Amber Foster, both of Lovettsville. Born to the late Ulysses Grant Hayes and Zula Ellen Frye Hayes in Lovettsville on June 7, 1922; one brother, John William Hayes and two sisters Irene Hayes and Helen Border precede her in death also. Genevieve was a life long resident of Lovettsville, where she was a member of the Homemakers Club, and worked in the Lovettsville Elementary School Cafeteria for over 30 years until her retirement in 1985. Friends may call on Monday April 24, 2006 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Loudoun/Brown Funeral Home, 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA 20180, also where a Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday April 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lovettsville Union Cemetery. Rev. Roland England will officiate.
