George Boras' Obituary
George Boras, 74, of Mc Lean, VA, Retired Engineering Professor with Howard University, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA. Mr. Boras was also retired from the State Department and was presently with Avenge, Inc. He was predeceased by his wife Silvia Diaz Boras in 2001.
He is survived by three children: Elena Dutterer, Waterford, VA and Katina Carusillo, San Diego, CA, George Boras, Ashburn, VA; seven grandchildren; a sister Angela Kiourktsoglou of Athens, Greece.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, VA 20164 at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 21, 2009, Rev. Richard Guest officiating.
Interment will be held privately.
