George Murray Jr. departed this life on Friday October 28, 2022 at Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in Leesburg, Va.
George was born May 9, 1940 in Washington, DC to the late George and Eva Murray. He was raised and attended school in Fairfax, Va.
He worked for Cooper & Trent for over 30 years as a printing press supervisor, after retirement he went to work for Color Craft.
George loved camping and fishing and had a love for fixing cars. He also made the best chicken noodle soup in town!
George "was preceded in death by:" his son Norman Murray, brothers James Murray, Raymond Murray, his sister Winifred Quinn. George leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Diana L. Murray, 4 children, Kevin Mallory, Eric Murray (Valerie), Devin Murray (Philathea), Milan Murray, 9 grandkids, Shaquana, Eric Jr., Draco, Kelvin, Carlton, Devin Jr., Norman, Jayde, Israel. 4 great-grandchildren, Skye, Tavon, Izaiah, Xavier. 1 brother, Vincent Murray. 2 sisters, Mineta Talley and Linda Walls, devoted friend Dorothy, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
