The Perspecta Security Team would like to send our condolences to the Nadeau and Nelson families. Many of us spent years working with George in so many different security capacities. George personally mentored me early in my career and never let me fail. Many years later I was fortunate enough to have George assist me with the stand-up of the SI Organization as a new company. On our most trying days his smile and heartfelt laugh would seem to make everything "okay". Again, refusing to allow me to fail. In our building today there are still remnants of George by how he handled his business and by how he treated others. We are a better organization and are better people because of the time he spent with us. Thank you for sharing him with us.

George and I worked together at Lockheed Martin for many years. I will always remember George's smiling face. It seemed as though he never had a bad day because he was always smiling. We had many conversations about family while working the midnight shift and it inspired me as a young man with a new family of my own. Thanks George for the inspiration and guidance, although at the time it seemed like you weren't giving advice, we were just sharing life stories. Rest in peace my ole friend.

Marty,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of George’s passing. You’ve faced many challenges in the years we worked together and hoped that retirement would be a peaceful time to share with your entire family. Please accept our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you. We wish you strength and peace in the days and weeks ahead.

There are so many memories I have of George! He was my neighbor and my friend! When our oldest, Chris, was starting Kindergarten, George would walk to the bus stop and stand with me! He always assured me that if the weather was bad, he would be with Chris so I wouldn’t have to take our younger son out! When Chris was a little older, he came by and took Chris with his son Scott to meet Redskin Darrell Green! I still have the signed photo! He treated my three boys like they were part of his family! We had so much fun at Swim Team! He was always there to lend a hand, make a little one smile or to make someone laugh! George loved his kids, Scott and Lisa! He adored His wife, Marty. He was so happy when his family grew! He welcomed Meka and Eric when his children chose their mates. He welcomed all of his wonderful grandchildren with open arms and so much love! George loved his family and always made friends feel welcome and special! George will be missed by so many! Rest In Peace George!
