George Washington Dodson's Obituary
GEORGE WASHINGTON “GW” DODSON, 72, a dump truck driver with Seneca Excavating, died on Sunday December 23, 2007 at his home in Ashburn, VA. Mr. Dodson was born February 23, 1935 in Culpeper, VA to the late Washington Irving and Ethel Fincham Dodson. A sister Mary Lou Dodson also predeceased him.
Mr. Dodson is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 25 years Doreen Lynn Dodson; three children: Larry Dodson of Westland, Michigan, Michael and wife Laura Dodson of Culpeper, VA, Judy Delcid of Dundalk, MD; two sisters: Virginia Pullen of Standardsville, VA, Eleanor (Ellie) and husband Ray Shore of Charlottesville, VA; one brother: Jackie and wife Hanna Dodson of Brandy Station, VA; a special cousin: Oscar Dodson; longtime special friend: George Hawkins; 13 grandchildren and one expected in July; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Saturday December 29, 2007 from 1 until the time of services at 3pm. Interment will be private.
