George Yee's Obituary
MR. GEORGE K.N. YEE, 68, on December 1, 2006 in Fairfax, VA, a resident of Clarksville, MD before moving to Ashburn, VA in 2003. Mr. Yee was born October 24, 1938 in Canton, China to the late Share Wing Chin and Tui Ngook Lim Chin. He lived in Hong Kong and Montreal for some time before he immigrated to the US in September 3, 1955 from Canada to Syracuse. Mr. Yee served in the US Army from 1961-1967 and became a Naturalized US Citizen in February of 1966. He was employed with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab in Laurel, MD from 1967 until his retirement in 2000.
Mr. Yee is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Mrs. Ann Boy King Yee of Ashburn, VA; two sons: Roger and Grace Yee of Ashburn, VA, Clifford Yee of Richmond, VA.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Tuesday, and December 5, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday December 6, 2006 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Burch officiating. Interment will follow in Emmanuel Cemetery, Middleburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation, 1856 Sheridan Road, Evanston, IL 60201 to establish a named memorial scholarship.
