GERALD "Jerry" CONDENZIO's Obituary
Gerald (Jerry) Condenzio peacefully passed into eternal rest on October 9, 2024, in his Sterling, VA home at age 86. He was born in Far Rockaway, NY on September 22nd, 1938, where he spent his childhood and young adult life before relocating to Long Island, NY in the early 1970s. Following retirement, he moved to Centerville, Virginia, and later Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to be closer to family.
Jerry was a proud retiree of Mobil Oil Corporation where he was an oil tank driver. Jerry was a passionate fisherman and outdoorsman who cherished his large Italian-Polish family, including many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jerry loved reminiscing about the old days on his family’s farm.
Jerry is survived by siblings Elaine, Joseph, and Robert, son Jerry Jr. and wife Cathy, son John and wife Maryanne, stepdaughters Tracy and Tina, grandchildren Stephanie, Brian, Rocco, Crystal Rose, Robert, Chloe and Declan. He was also a proud great grandfather of Gavin, Kaelyn, Madeline and Sofia.
Private memorial services will be held in Queens, NY and Myrtle Beach, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association found at Alzheimer's and Dementia Association.
