GERALD F. MANETTI
Gerald (Jerry) Francis Manetti of Oakton Virginia passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025. He was surrounded by his family in his final moments on earth.
Jerry was born March 23, 1940 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Andrew Manetti and the late Eleanor Manetti. He graduated from Monessen High School and then attended Pennsylvania State University. Following graduation from Penn State, he joined the United States Air Force. After service to his country, he attended Brooklyn Law School and St. John’s University for graduate studies.
Jerry had a long career in Management Engineering and Information Technology, both in private industry and in federal, state, and local government before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Kromer Manetti; his sister, Angela Covert; children, Matthew Bradley Manetti (Mariah), Mark Andrew Manetti (Wendy), John Gregory Manetti (Rachel), Jennifer Renee DiCicco (David); eleven beloved grandchildren, Cole, Claire, Andrew, Caroline, Ryan, John, Ruthie, Nora, Allie, Taylor and Dylan; his in-law siblings, Mark Kromer (Linda) and Barbara Rocca; as well as treasured nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 9:30 am at Saint Timothy's Catholic Church 13807 Poplar Tree Road, Chantilly, VA.
