Gerald George Wilknight Patterson's Obituary
Gerald Patterson (Bill) of Lovettsville, VA went home to be with his Lord on June 9, 2012. Bill was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on Jan. 1, 1934, a son of the late Triscillian Patterson and the late Enid Patterson.
Bill worked in Jamaica for the Collector General's Office, Alumina Partners of Jamaica (ALPART) and Forest Industries Development Company (FIDCO). He retired from FIDCO as the Human Resources Manager in the early 90s.
He is survived by his wife Norma and children Nigel, Michael, Debbie and Gordon (and his wife Glennis). He is also survived by his siblings Carlton, Dorrie, Trevor, Jacquie (Kennedy) and Marie; grandchildren Sydney, Ryleigh and Amelia; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. David’s Episcopal Church, Ashburn, VA.
A second memorial service will be held in Jamaica on July 14th at 11:00am, St. Margaret's Anglican Church 167 Old Hope Road Kingston 6 876-927-0651.
