Geraldine Walsh's Obituary
Geraldine (Gerry) Walsh, 70, of Ashburn, VA, passed on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Born May 7, 1946 to the late John & Alice Donnelly in Newark, NJ. Graduate of East Orange Catholic H.S. After completing studies at Berkeley School of Business, Gerry joined the Federal Pacific Corp in Newark. Relocating to Virginia in 1984, Gerry joined the Underwriters Adjusting Corp. and ending her career after 15 years at INOVA Home Health in Springfield.
Gerry is survived by her husband, Dan; proud mother of Christine & son in law, Joseph Wheeler and Daniel J. Walsh, grandmother to Erin, Finn and Sam. Also survived by sisters Margaret Delia and Noreen & brother in law, Peter Riccardi, and her brother Owen Donnelly & sister in law, Laurel, and many nieces/grandnieces, and nephews/grandnephews.
A second brother, Martin (Scotty) Donnelly predeceased her.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, on Weds. May 25, 2016 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175
Funeral services will be held to celebrate Gerry’s life with a Mass, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Theresa Church, 21371 St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, VA at 10:30 AM.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
