Gerald L. Shumaker's Obituary
Mr. Gerald (Jerry) L. Shumaker, 78, died 22 July 2010 in Boca Raton, Florida. Jerry was the only son of Joe and Madge Shumaker of Lovettsville, Virginia. He graduated from Randolph Macon Academy. He served in the Army in 1950-1951. Jerry was a banker in Leesburg, VA; Charlestown, WV; and Boca Raton, FL. His wife of 38 years, Mary L. Shumaker, preceded him in death. He is survived by two step sons: W. Michael Jones and his wife, Sofia of Columbia, MD and Ernest M. Jones and his wife, Patricia of Hagerstown, MD, 3 grand children and 4 great grand children. The viewing for family and friends will be 1-2 pm Friday July 30 at the Brown Funeral Home in Lovettsville, VA followed by a graveside service.
