German Candia, 64 of Sterling, Virginia died on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at his home in Sterling, Virginia .
Born Monday, November 20, 1944 in Cochabamba, Bolivia, he was the son of the late Victor Candia and Cinda
Vargas of Cochabamba, Bolivia.
German was a delivery driver employed by Chantell Bakery in Sterling, VA until he became ill.
Surviving are his wife Ana Estela Candia of Sterling; 2 sons, Carlos A. Candia, and German M. Candia both of
Sterling, VA, 2 daughters, Nadia M. Candia of Sterling, VA and Sofia M. Candia, of Spain. He is also survived by his
brother, Orlando Candia, sisters, Blanca Candia, Teresa Salina Candia, Charo Candia and Elsa Candia, all of
Bolivia; and 5 grand children.
Friends may call on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on
Monday at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church located at 4329 Sano Street Alexandria, Virginia 22312 with the
Father Andrew Fisher officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date in Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, VA.
