Gerosimos Solos' Obituary
GERASIMOS K. SOLOS (JERRY) 71, a resident of the Metropolitan are for many years before moving to Leesburg, VA in 2005, died on Tuesday June 12, 2007 in Washington, DC. Mr. Solos was born in Kalamos, Greece on September 14, 1935 to the late Konstantinos and Eleni Solos. He migrated from Greece in 1954 and worked as an Executive Chef with various restaurants and hotels in and around Washington.
Mr. Solos is survived by his beloved wife of 40years, Mrs. Maria Solos of Leesburg; two children: Eleni Solos-Kountouris and Konstantinos Solos both of Leesburg; sister: Georgia Cominos of Rockville, MD, Peter Solos of Herndon, VA; five grandchildren: George, Gerasimos, Marios-Yiannis, Drosoula Kountouris, and Gerasimos Solos; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Thursday June 14, 2007 from 1-3 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held at 10am at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George 7701 Bradley Blvd. Bethesda, MD on Friday June 15, 2007 with Father Dimitrios Antokas officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
