our prayers go out to all of members of her family we shard a lot of time and conversation with both Bob and Gertie while sitting by the reek in Shermansdale watching the creek flow and the youngsters play. she always had a smile and the best shoofly pie you could ever want I am grateful to have known her and that I was able to be a small part of her quilt project (I was able to donate sheets) she will be remembered Maynard & Linda Sterner

Every Sunday after church Gertie would always give me a hug. I would always ask her how she was feeling, and she would always say, "Dear, I have been around for many years, and I have lived a good life. I am ready for whatever life sends my way."
