Glandwood Daw Moore Sr, 90 of Middleburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on June 9th,2020, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Leesburg, VA. He was born on December 8th, 1929, in Aldie, VA to the late Herbert Mo Read Obituary
This is Reginald Sherman, Otis Moore’s grandson. I remember meeting Glandwood many years ago. I were filming a documentary about my grandfather when we met. We had spent all day together talking about how it was for them growing up. Uncle Glandwood was a kind and nice man. I wish had would had spent more time with him to learn more about my family history. Otis and Glandwood will be truly missed!
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one.
Rev. Moore was a wonderful speaker in the House of the Lord. He was a very persistent and encouraging pastor and uplifted everybody he met. No one was a stranger to him.

I will always cherish the memories and wonderful blessed times shared with your parents. Glandwood and WP (the late William Preston Gardner) were like brothers. They had a deep abiding love for each other; both loving their wives; their families and their faith in God. Moving to Leesburg was the perfect decision made. Now they both can continue to enjoy each other among families and friends; and enjoy the peace and happiness being in the Kingdom.
