Obituary Information
Glena Menvil Miller, 47, of Ashburn, Virginia since 2002 died suddenly on Monday, April 15th 2013. Ms. Miller was born in Tuscon, AZ on August 17, 1965. She moved with her family to Montgomery Village, MD in 1974 and after graduating in 1983 from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, MD she moved back out west to Scottsdale, AZ. Ms. Miller was working with Dr. Kolman Apt, DDS for many years in his Ashburn and Herndon offices. She enjoyed reading and looking up recipes but above all she loved animals and had spent some time working with a local pet sitting company.
Ms. Miller is survived by her beloved children: Dillon Robert Miller of Brooklyn, NY, Paris Nichole Miller of Ashburn; her parents: Bill and Meta Magee of Annapolis, MD; the father of her children: John Paul Miller of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters: Carolyn Hoffman of Oak Hill, VA, Emily Freund of Bethesda, MD, Shaney Nadel of Tampa, FL; nine nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Sandy E. Wakefield in 2011.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, April 19th 2013 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg from 11:30 until the time of services at 1PM. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Glena for her children’s benefit, C/O her father, William R. Magee, 49 Overlook Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401.
