Gloria J. Perry's Obituary
Gloria J. Perry, 81, of Lynchburg, VA passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Madison Heights, VA on October 7, 1941 to the late John Preston and Nettie (Phelps) Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Perry, Sr., her son Robert D. Perry, Jr., her sister Joanne Rhodes Coffer and her brother John P. Rhodes, Jr.
She enjoyed watching cooking and game shows and listening to country music. Mrs. Perry loved playing bingo and taking trips to the beach. She enjoyed going out to eat, doing word search puzzles and playing various games on her phone and tablet.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Perry, four grandchildren: Amanda and Ryan Williams, Candice and Destinie Perry and two great-grandchildren: Brooklynn and Noah Perry. Gloria is also survived by several nieces and nephews and loving friends.
A chapel service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00pm at Fort Hill Memorial Park 5196 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, VA with Rev. Roy Trammell officiating. Arrangements by Loudoun Funeral Chapel Leesburg, VA. Please share online condolences with the family at www.loudounfuneralchapel.com.
