Gloria Trbovich's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Trbovich, who entered eternal rest on January 22, 2026, at the age of 93.
Gloria was born on February 5, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she met the love of her life, Nick Trbovich. They later made their home in Virginia, where they raised their four children and built a life centered on faith and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amerigo and Pearl Posati; her beloved son, Nicky Trbovich; her devoted husband, Nick Trbovich; and her son-in-law, Roy Batchelder.
Gloria is survived by her children: Vicki Batchelder; Danny Trbovich (Brenda); and Missy Bohrer (Brian). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
She dedicated 25 years of service to Fairfax County Public Schools in Food Service and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, unwavering Catholic faith, love for her dachshunds, and her lifelong Pittsburgh pride—always cheering, “Let’s Go Steelers!”
A visitation will be held February 6, 2026, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia. A Funeral Mass will take place February 7, 2026 at 12:00p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Purcellville, Virginia, followed by burial at Union Cemetery in Leesburg.
