Goldie Lee Bates' Obituary
Goldie Lee Bates, 80 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Saturday, October 3, 1936 in Lucketts, Virginia to the late Ode E. and Virgie Mae (Barnhouse) Frye. She was the next to the youngest of 18 children.
She was loved and respected by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Harrison of Inwood, WV and Betty Bates of Leesburg, VA, grandchildren: Alicia Leith, Mariah Shifman and R.D Miller and great grandchildren: Austin, Logan, Ryan and Kelsey.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bobby” and her daughter, Cynthia Miller.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
