Grace Alleen Downs Frye's Obituary
GRACE ALLEEN DOWNS FRYE, 98, a twenty year resident of Falls Church Virginia, and resident since the early 70’s back “home” in Leesburg, Virginia died in Gilbert, Arizona on Tuesday, August 17th 2010. Mrs. Frye was born near Leesburg in Sterling Virginia on November 11th 1911 to the late John Noland and Mary A. Darnes Downs. Her husband, Paul S. Frye predeceased her in June of 1991. Mrs. Frye worked in the cafeteria of Loudoun County Public Schools for many years before retiring in 1976.
Her two sons survive Mrs. Frye: Arthur Allen Frye of Gilbert, AZ, John Noland Frye of Baltimore, MD; Granddaughter and Grandsons; Great Granddaughters’ and Sons; and a Great-great Grandson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 26th 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Friday, August 27th at 11:00am. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
