Guy Leo Charbonneau's Obituary
GUY LEO CHARBONNEAU, 55, of Sterling, Virginia, died on Wednesday, September 1st 2010 in Lansdowne, Virginia, after a long battle with cancer. Guy was born February 6th 1955 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He graduated from Old Dominion University in 1979 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Philosophy. Guy enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, playing games, landscaping and gardening, fishing, golfing and sports, especially baseball. He never missed a World Series and enjoyed watching any game in which the hated Yankees were being beaten by the Red Sox or the Orioles. He also loved to engage in lively debates on politics and current events.
Mr. Charbonneau is survived by his beloved wife of over 31 years, Hatsie Charbonneau; a son: Jeremy Charbonneau; a daughter: Nicole Marley (Ian); his mother: Elizabeth Charbonneau; two siblings: Claudia Duckworth and Kit Charbonneau; numerous nephews and nieces, and was especially fond of his wife’s twin, Betsy O’Reilly. His father, George L. Charbonneau, predeceased him in 2009.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 11th 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA with Rev. Marybeth Planck officiating. Interment will be private.
