Hanna "Said" Aneed's Obituary
Said Aneed, 92 passed away peacefully on February 8 surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife Naimeh and his children Zack, Judy and Sylvia, his son in laws
Joe Zarou and Jawad Boukhriss, his grandchildren Joseph, Ashley (Aaron); Alyssa, Omar and great granddaughter Aria.
He was born in Ramallah, Palestine in 1931 and immigrated to the United States in 1956. He lived in Detroit, Michigan where he ran a successful market for many years until deciding to move to the Washington DC area. Once in the DC area he opened a successful restaurant business for 19 years until he retired. His favorite things to do were spending time with his family and reminiscing about his youth in Ramallah, playing cards and spending winters in Florida. His warmth, generosity and infectious spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
