Harold Willard Lawson's Obituary
HAROLD WILLARD LAWSON, 70, longtime resident of Lucketts, Virginia died on Monday, March 4th 2013 in Falls Church, VA. Mr. Lawson was born August 23, 1942 in Exeter, VA to the late Willard E. and Emma Jane Adams Lawson. He moved to Lucketts with his family at the age of 15 in 1957. Mr. Lawson retired from Trans Tech in Adamstown, MD after many years in 2010. He was a member of Furnace Mountain Presbyterian Church and the Ruritan Club in Lucketts. Mr. Lawson enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking at events over the years.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his beloved four children: Brenda L. Smith (Danny) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Harold David Lawson (Terry) of Lovettsville, VA, Sheila Painter (Buddy) of Stephens City, VA, Michael Lawson (Amy) of Leesburg; his companion: Lois Nichols of Lucketts; his former wife and mother of his children: Paula Frye of Leesburg; six sisters: Anna Mae Bates, Peggy Harshman, Margaret Barnhouse, Betty Davis, Kathy Lane, Debbie Cogle; six brothers: Richard, Billy, Jerry, Steve, John, Jackie; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 7th 2013 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Friday at 2PM. Interment will follow in Furnace Mountain Cemetery in Lucketts.
